RIKKI - taidetta mielenterveydestä
The RIKKI collective is a group of Finnish artists making artwork to discuss mental illness. Our goal is to alleviate the stigma around mental illness, help sufferers cope and overall promote being more honest and open about mental illness.
For the time being, RIKKI functions more or less only in Finnish.
I translated my contribution to February's theme "mental illness & relationships" into English though.
Btw I am aware of the "you you" mistake in the lowest image, but I don't really believe in perfection & this isn't going into print anywhere, so I wanna leave my mistakes, silly, big or small, out in the open. 'Cause I am who I am and when I translate hours of work at 3am into English, a "you you" can happen and I'll let it be there to remind me of my working process.
RIKKI also has a tumblr (that's quite dead), and a Facebook from which you can follow up on various different exhibits and participation in conventions, etc that RIKKI has.
